Any recommendations for doctors in Florida?
 

Just wondering if anyone has any opinions on any of the doctors listed on the website for the state of Florida. Our son is 6 months old and has a hemangioma on his forehead. We would like to have a consultation with one of the doctors - Dr. Habal in Tampa is closest to us, but just curious if anyone has any personal experiences with any of them.

Hi, I e-mailed this to another person on the board here so I am just going to copy the reply here to you also.

Hi & congrats on your new little boy!
I am the mom Corinne spoke of. I do not have personal experience w/ Dr. Habel but I can tell you about our surgeon in Tampa, Dr. Michael Gallant, he does the surgeries in the All Childrens Hospital & has his own practice just down the road that he does the consults & follow ups. He is a plastic surgeon & specializes in cleft palates. He did my dd's first h removal surgery when she was about 11 1/2 mths. old. She has since had 2 more reconstructive surgeries & one more in Feb. all done by him. I am very happy w/ Dr. Gallant & his staff (very friendly people).
