First treatment with Vbeam Perfecta
Hello everyone-
Tomorrow I'm having my first treatment with the Vbeam Perfecta machine. I've had treatments in late 2000 with an earlier model machine. I understand the Vbeam, with it's cooling features, results in less bruising. Is this true? I'm 55 and have had 8 or so treatments on my facial PWS starting way back in 1981- then a few in '88 and then again for 3 treatments in 2000. Just curious how this machine fares with earlier models. Thank you, Don |
I have heard that it DOES result in less brusing, less redness, less soreness afterward, but I don't KNOW this.
Hope your treatments today are swift and painless. Come back and tell us how the Perfecta compares! Missy |
Just wanted to know where you are having the Perfecta done? I have been looking everywhere to find someone that has the Perfecta.

I HATE it when people don't come back and tell us what happened!!

try posting on birthmark.com group about the use of Perfecta. I know they have members that have had treatment.

Don,
How went the Vbeam treatment? Did it get lighter? I had my first treatment done in July. I could's see too much different, but I think it's understandable. They said the second treatment will show more result. Anybody is from St. Louis? I need advices about doctors in St Louis area. Vicky |

St. Louis doctors
For adult patients with a port wine stain, Dr. Nelson recommended to me Dr. George Hruza in the Saint Louis area.
For pediatric patients, Dr. Susan Bailess and Dr. Elaine Sigfried are both recommended. We see Dr. Bailess. Hope this helps! Katie |
