Venous Malformation on Tongue and Neck
 

Hi! I was born with a venous malformation on my tongue. It has grown a lot. I am 48 years of age now and the malformation on my tongue is huge. I have had slerotherapy on it and it didnt work and I am left with a numb patch which makes it hard to talk. The lump on my neck is quite disfiguring too, although I have had successful treatment on that in the past.

I am quite disheartened by it and unsure of what to do in the future.

I look forward to reading everyones stories and hopefully getting some advice too.

Hi! I also have a malformation under my tongue and on the roof of my mouth. I have them everywhere on the left side of my body.
Just wondering what type of Doctor did you see to evaluate the malformations in your mouth?
