I've decided to share a few photos of the PWS on my hand.
"before procedure.JPG" shows my hand before the procedure I had in early November. It was quite warm, so the color is lighter than usual. This is after probably over 15 procedures, most as a child with older lasers, and some as an adult with the VBeam Perfecta (which has made significant progress in lightening & removal of some areas). "hand day of.JPG" shows the purpura after the procedure. The color varies by area, some treated areas get close to black and some are lighter. There are 2 other photos as well, 2 and 4 days after the procedure. The more treatments I have, the lighter the post-procedure purpura/bruising is. Most of the dark spots go away 2-7 days after the procedure, and then the areas seem to slowly continue lightening for a few weeks after that (I've seen a difference between 1 week after and 5 weeks after). |
Thank you so much for sharing these! They will absolutely help other people to see what treatment might look like.
