Can hemangiomas have ingrown hairs?
 

My 3 month daughter has a congenital hemangioma about the size of my thumb nail on her head. I recently noticed a black "line" inside of it. My husband thinks its a clump of hairs inside of it. Is this possible? I uploaded a picture and put black lines on either side where the black line is in the hemangioma. (Its shiny because there's aquafor on it.) I first noticed this because it had started flaking, I don't know if its related to it or if its just a coincidence...

My daughter Scarlett is 21 months and she also has a hemangioma on her hairline (right abover her forehead). I don't know if I know about ingrown hairs, but he never had any issues with that (she has blonde hair so it's hard to tell)

I think this is the first time this question has come up. I would have her doctor take a look at it.
