Breastfeeding and Propalonal

Can you do it? Or do you need the measurable amount of formula to balance the hypoglycemia? My daughter is only 2mo and is not on solids yet. We aren't treating the H (which is on her diaper area) yet, but it is only a matter of time.

hiya! my daughter started on propranolol 2 1/2 weeks ago. she was 3 months exactly. She weighs in at 15.7 lbs. She is exclusively breastfed, wont take a bottle... so i have no idea how much she is getting! we havent had any issues of hypoglycemia. When we first started the propranolol we did a 6 hour stay in an outpatient area of the hospital so she could be monitored (blood pressure/sugars etc) no problems w/ that.

She is now 16.7 lbs. and get 1.9 ml of propranolol 2x a day... i give it to her in the morning around 6:30 am.. about a 1/2 hour after she has nursed (so she doesnt spit it up w/ a burp) and again about 6:30-7pm ish.. about a 1/2 hour before she has her last nursing session before bed. The only "side effect" we have encountered is cold hands in the middle of the night. Her cardiologist said that the hypoglycemic issues that had been reported were rare instances--- for example when the child wasnt allowed to eat after midnight because they were going in for surgery in the morning... and the parents gave them the propranolol in the morning w/ no formula/breastmilk...

ETA
her H is on her lower right eyelid-- about the size of a small pea...
