Dr. Rabinowitz in Wisconsin

Hello. I am in the process of having our 8 mo. old son looked at for what seems to be a vascular birthmark of some kind, most likely a venous malformation. I saw Dr. Rabinowitz listed in the directory, but I wanted to see if anyone had any experience with her or has heard anything about her. Also, if anyone has any idea what the likelihood of a doctor recommending treatment for what our pediatrician believes (and I do too, based on what I've read) to be a not very large, not noticeable (because it's under his hair) venous malformation. Do Drs. usually automatically recommend laser or surgical treatment? it seems to be asymptomatic, and of course, i don't want my baby to have to go through anything unnecessary. Thanks for any advice!

Serena

You posted pretty long ago so ya will probably not read this, but our son was just seen by Dr. Drolet in Milwaukee.* I have read several other posts about Dr. R. and they have all been very positive.* So much that we started to question if we should have been going to see her instead. *I am sure that you have already went through your appointment by now so I hope all went well for you and your son.*

Has anyone else seen dr. R or Dr. Drolet in Milwaukee?
