update

just to update. lexi had her surgery and all went well. she is healing nicely and the scar is barely noticeable. there's no doubt we made the right decision!

No we did not have success with timolol after propanolol. It seemed to help a little bit but then we just quit using it. We are having surgery here in less than two weeks. :(

My daughters is a deep hemangioma and I don't think shes ever had the red on the outside but used to have the blue. I just wonder how a scar would heal and agonize about a visible scar on her face....

To answer your question no I never noticed any rash, etc. with my daughter. My daughter's story is similar to yours btw. And I so agree with you on "if you miss a dose" good luck to you!

It seems hemangiomas affect more girls than boys. I really wonder why this is. I really wish they would figure out a connection and what causes hemangiomas. I'm very interested in finding out.
