I've gone through many similar things. I have lymphangioma on my right hip. im still in high school and im glad that this year is my last year of PE. Its hard for me living in Southern California cuz I love going to the beach, so in order to hide it, i wear board shorts all of the time. My mom gets mad and tells me to take them off, but i never do. She acts like nothing is wrong and that im no different than anyone else, so i totally get how you feel with your dad. Im glad you found someone who really likes you for you. Thats sweet thats shes so understanding.
