Hi Burtongrl, my daughter has been on propranolol for months but was only put on timolol in the last few weeks when her H was almost flat. My dr told me that the propranolol is for the bulk of the H and the timolol is to fade the color. Propranolol has made a huge difference but the timolol is not doing much for us.
