ulcer resulted from AVM

I will go for embolization with Dr. Yakes in 10 days. But my skin begin to have ulcer 10 days ago. I went to see my local cadiologist. He was kind of concern my situation. He worried about the bleeding when the ulcer is deeper. He said there might not be anyone here can stop or fix the bleeding. But I don't think I can reschedule my appointment and I already booked the tickets. Any suggestion to prevent the ulcer to be developed and prevent the bleeding?
