I am sorry, but I have to say this again. They are not true hemangiomas if they appear in adulthood. They are a type of malformation. You many be hearing this from doctors that are not using accurate update terminlogy. I would encourage you to email any of our specialists and confirm. The problem when doctors use the incorrect term... a patient may be confused by the expectations or treatment options for the lesion.
