hemangioma blister after laser treatment

I have a baby of 18 months, she has a segmental h on her right side face, she had 10 tx with laser candela with not much results, her doctor decided to change laser into the cynergy one that combines Nd and Pdl, she is now on her 3rd tx with this new laser, her h seems to be improving a little bit but this time it has produced on her skin some blisters. Is there any way to prevent blisters? how can I treat the blister to avoid a scar? just after the tx would it be good to apply a bit of cool/ice to prevent?

I don't know if you can prevent them my son did have a couple blisters in his last two laser treatments. We did use ice pack the last laser tx. to help with swelling. We also used aquapher (zinc oxide product is good too). My son's blisters never did scar though...not sure if that is normal or not. My son had a segmental hemangioma on the right side of his face as well. I would call your doctor's office and ask if they have any advice on treating the blisters. We were told to watch it closely for infection and were given antibotic ointment to use if the blister opened up and looked infected.
