My daughter will be undergoing her 11th treatment at the end of the month. She is 2 1/2. She has PWS all over her body so there is not an other option other than to put her under GA. I wouldn't have it any other way. I was very nervous in the beginning, but Texas Children's Hospital seems extremly competent and we've put our trust in them. She is definitely a bit groggy coming out, but we travel 3 hours to get home and she does beautifully. We get back to recovery and she wakes up, gets apple juice and a popsicle and off we go home.

She is a very normal 2 1/2 year old and we've seen no bad side effects from GA.
