blood clots in lungs or what?

I have recently had to undergo more testing concerning my AVM

The drs. feel that something is happening within my lungs. They recently thought that I had pulmonary fibrous; but that turned out negative. Now they believe that the nodules they saw in the ct scan must be associated with something, but they aren't telling me all that they suspect.???
I have felt the shortness of breathe, and the chest pains are not in my imagination. Has anyone had any experiences like this?
I thought I had been through all kinds of testing before, but the AVM presents problems for me

Eight months ago, I spent a week in the hospital for "blood clots" in my left arm. I also had symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, blood constriction of left arm.

Recently, I was diagnosed and treated for venous malformation on my left shoulder. I had my first treatment of sclerotherapy last week and thus far, have experienced only minimal side effects. I highly recommend my doctor (Dr. Antonacci, North Carolina). He is very knowledgeable, thorough, and has great bedside manner.
