"Blood Clots" in birthmark

My son is 23 and has a port wine birthmark on his side. He has 'bumps' that move across his back, through his birthmark, and across his stomach, then disappear. We think they are blood clots moving through his blood vessels on the top of his skin (but we don't really know). They are tender to the touch. Does anyone else have these? Are they dangerous?

Without knowing what these are it would be hard to say if this is dangerous. You should have your son examined by a multidisciplinary team to identify what these things are and if there is something that can be done for him.

Wow, this is very troubling! I've never heard of this as a symptom of PWS. Certainly I've never experienced it.

(37 facial PWS several treatments here.)

Are you living in the US? This almost sounds like some sort of Nematoda living under the skin. You should find a good doctor quickly! This could be a big problem!
