Tests before Propanolol

Hi. My daughter (now 7 weeks old) has more than one haemangioma (segmental H.?) mostly on the right side of her face. She is going to start oral propranolol but we need to wait for the results of the tests and we'll have an MRI in 3 weeks time. I was wondering, which kind of test you all did before starting the treatment? Thanks!

My son had an EKG done by a pediatric cardiologist before starting the drug. No other tests were done.

Today we did a ECHO, ECG, Ultrasound scan of the abdomen/renal tract (she has an H. in her button belly).
On Monday we are going to start with Propanolol in a very low dose while we are waiting for the MRI (May 6).

My daughter is two months old and she had an u/s of her brain a ct of her brain and echo of her heart and an ekg. If you have any questions just let me know. I hope that everything goes great.

Hi,
just wanted to update:
We started Propanolol 2 weeks ago in a low dosage (1mg/Kg/day) while we are waiting for the MRI. We did so because the H was growing very fast and the Dr didn't want to wait too long.
So far we're happy with the treatment, no side effects and the H has stopped to grow!
