Zoies surgery is over! IT went great and she is happy.

Shes doing wonderful. It doent really seem like she even knows she had surgery. Right after suregery in recovery, she was laughing and playing. Now shes just her normal sefl, maybe a little drowsy from the pain medicine. It is just amazing to me to look at her neck and see nothing but a little bandage. I wonder if it was a relief to her? Her hemangioma always hed pressure on it from her neck rolls. I would think that would hurt pushing up on to the ulcerated area. She doesnt even scream when you check the bandage now. I am soo happy to have found Dr. Bueno!

Hope all went well with Surgery...
If it will make you feel better afterwards. I would contact Dr. Waner in NY.. He is the leading expert in all this.
My son is 4.5 yrs old now and has a vascular lympahtic ,malformation in his tongue.
he has had 9 surgies since he was 1.5 years old...
We have had several with Dr. Waner and we now go to Arkansas Childrens Hospital vascular anolmolies center which dr, waner started. It is run by Dr. Lisa Buckmiller and she is incredible her and her team.. Much closer!! I would contact either one of them. It is their lifes work!!

I dont think i will need to contact any other doctors. Her hemangioma is completly gone and she has about an inch and hald scar inside her neck crease. you cannot even see it!

She looks wonderful!! You must be a happy mom!!

What a great success. I know you feel like the world has lifted off your shoulders. Now... go have a great summer with your two girls!!
