Update: We saw the doctor on Monday and she feels the hemangioma looks better (not as bright red, no further ulceration). So she feels the steroids, even at the minimal dosage, are doing their job and rather than starting Propranolol, she wants us to continue giving the small amount of steroids for 3 more weeks. I guess I'm glad the steroids are doing what they're supposed to do. A part of me wants to try the Propranolol because I've heard such great things about it, but I keep reminding myself that I'm not the doctor and she knows what she's doing. So I guess that's good news.

Lauren: Did your daughter's hemangioma go away just by taking the steroids or did she have to do other treatments before it went through the involution process?
