Default Surgery set for next week....
After jumping through hoops with various doctors our insurance approved our daughters surgery for removal! It's very badly ulcerated and causing her a great deal of pain. Let me tell you bandage changes are no fun

It's set for the 19th at VBI in NY...we are from TN so we have a long car trip ahead I'm nervous and happy at the same time...its going to be different seeing her without her hemangioma. I love it and every part of her. Wish us luck and I will post pics later!!

We'll be thinking of you! She is in the BEST hands there, though, so I expect everything to be smooth sailing!

I hope you get a chance to enjoy a little bit of NYC while you're there. When I lived up that way, I got addicted to the pizza! You can't get pizza like that in the south, unless some New Yorker loses his mind and moves here to open a pizza shop!
