surgery is Thursday....getting nervous

So my 2.5 yr old is going in for surgery on Thursday. Fingers crossed we don't get sick before then. SHe is getting a nevus sebaceous removed from her head and while she is under they suggested fixing the scar left from her lower lip H so I don't have to put her under again in a few years.

I am so nervous.

Oh boy, do I remember that feeling! If you don't have to go out anywhere I would keep her quarantined!!! After my daughter's surgery got cancelled due to sickness 3 times, I did just that. My husband was away for the weekend and I stayed in the house with 4 young children for 3-4 days and didn't go anywhere, because I didn't want to take the chance of her getting sick! ha! ha!!!

I'm sure she'll be fine but I know how it is hard it is as the mom! I'm sure she is in good hands. You will be so relieved when it is over. Try to bring something to read to keep your mind occupied. Good luck and let us know how it goes!

I remember when Shannon went through all that ... surgery kept getting canceled. It was awful! I mean, it's funny .... now ... but back then, it was very stressful.
