I realize people haven't written on this in a year, but I just wanted to say how thankful I am that I found it! My daughter (6 weeks) was born with many as well and it has been weighing on my mind heavily. I feel guilty for caring so much, as she is very healthy, but I know it is the first thing people see. They pics are soooo encouraging to see. Thank you all!

That's the wonderful thing about this forum! It brought me a lot of comfort and hope when my daughter was in the early months and I know it has done the same thing for many others. My daughter is 9 years old now and I still want to stay involved because I know how much people's stories and pictures helped me. I'm glad you have had the same experience!

Default Angel kisses

My daughter was born 2 weeks ago with the Angel kisses on her eyelids, between on forehead and upper lip. I am so happy that I found this page! My Dr told me that they will fade in time...and thanks to the pics I am sure they will too...thanks for sharing!

Hi All,

My DS was born 10 weeks ago with two or three quite prominent patches of red/pink on his forehead. I've read a bit about salmon patches and port wine stains. My doctor thinks they are salmon patches but they look darker than those I've found pictures of online.

What I do know is they become more/less prominent with his mood or activity. Also, if I lightly pinch the fleshy skin around the patches, they fade. Would port wine stains behave that way?

Thank-you to those who run/contribute to this very helpful site.
