Treated with Radiation?

Back in the 50's, 60's and even 70's some people were treated with radiation for their birthmarks. A new questionnaire is available for studies taking place on the link between cancer/radiation to treat vascular lesions. I am now 53, I developed a hemangioma on my chest at age 2 weeks. Of course back then they called it a spider tumor. When I was 1 1/2 years old I fell and the birthmark split open. At the hospital, the doctor told my parents that I would need radiation. I don't know much about this, except that the radiation I was given was called Co-balt. Now at the age of 53 the lesion has changed and I just had a biopsy done to determine if it has now turned to cancer. I would appreciate any information you could send to me.
