AVM in Right Foot - need support

Hello, I am twenty-eight years old suffering from an out-of-control AVM in my right foot. I am receiving monthly ethenol treatments from Dr. Yakes, and the pain is just too much for me. Until a few months ago, I was able to walk, work, play with my little boy, and live a normal life. I am now confined to bed because of a severe ulceration on the bottom of my foot and frequent hemoraging. I have never been able to talk to someone in a similar situation, and feel very alone. My family is very supportive, but they don't really understand how hard it is to undergo the monthly treatments, the relentless pain, and the sadness that comes with losing your job and mobility. I realize that others have it far worse than I do, but it is just so hard.

I am also having trouble financially, and was wondering if anyone knows of any government resources to help pay for these procedures, as the hospital is refusing to let me have my next procedure unless I come up with $2,500.00! I just don't know where to turn, and I would appreciate any advice...thank you so much...pennyroyal

just wanted to offer you a bit of support. i'm so sorry that your foot has caused you such pain and has been a hindrance in your life. i don't have much advice... i have a VM on my foot (up my leg and scattered all over the rest of me too!) so i can SORT OF relate to the pain that it can bring. but i just wanted to let you know you're in my thoughts and prayers.
i know it can be discouraging when insurance and hospitals can't cooperate with our situation.... just know that there are others out there and we are here to support eachother.

i am one who can relate to you.
I have CVM which is similar to what you
have on my entire right leg, up to my hip,
even my foot. I am 22 and sick of letting
it go and being turned down. I live with
pain everyday and it gets worse every year.
i just need some motivation to get help and
do what i have to do. my foot hs the CVM the
worst, it i deep purple almost black.I have constant
spasms followed by foot cramps. Right now i feel
like there is nohope for me... :'(
