Things to Do in Denver???

Hey all,

I have just started planning the trip to see Dr.Yakes and will be in Denver for over a week, with my appts being the first two days I am there. Seems I will have lots of free time, depending on the outcome and pain.
But my question is what is there to do in Denver? We might take in a Rockies game...what else??
Also what is the weather like around the end of May? I am coming from a hot climate (southeast Georgia) but I am orignally from Long Island, so I enjoy the cold.
Hopefully Hank can help me out on this one!

They are saying we are suppose to have snow until the end of may. The Weather is very unprodictable in CO so bring enough warm close. It gets really cold sometimes at night.

Places to go. Well you can see the state capital, or go to the 18th street mall. They have trains that go up and down the street so you would not have to walk and it stops on every block. My fav is the Cheesecake factory at the very end of the street where the trains turn around. Even though I can not have milk products, I like looking at it. LOL

There is a really good italian food place right down the street from the hospital. It is on Broadway and Hampden. The name is Rico's it reminded me on NYC italian food. Very good and unexpensive.

Thanks Hank, hopefully it will snow..I miss the snow..sick of the beach and heat!

There will be snow up in the mountains untill July.
