Default New to hemangioma

Hello, my name is Ashlee
I have a 13 week (3 month) old daughter.
At about 1 month old she developed this bump, about pea size.
On her right eye brow.
Well she had it for a good month (2months old now) and we took her to the Dr. At first he told us it was a "goose egg" and that it'll go away in 2 weeks, well two weeks came and passed and it just got more red and purple.
We went to get a second opnion and he told us it was hemangioma.
I had no clue what it was and became super worried.
Can someone explain it in a better way for me?
Also how did you as a parent cope with this?
Are there safe treatments?
Im sorry, im a first time mom and I worry about her. I cried for 2 hours when her umbilical cord fell off.
Im just so lost.
