Help in South of Boston

My sister just had a baby boy with a large PWS over his eye, forehead, extending back over the top of his head?* Trying to do research for her (she has 3 kids under 3!!)*

Can anyone recommend a doctor or tx or monthly support group meeting?

She just saw a doctor that recommended laser tx to the forehead only (for now) and then starting his head when he is old enough for general anesthesia at 10-12 months.

Any comments or suggestions will be appreciated.

There are two excellent centers in Boston...MGH and Children's...Check out the Mass. physicians list on the referral list,,you are lucky to be near some of the best physicians in the country.!!

The baby will need to be seen by a Pediatric Ophthalmologist as well...the clinic will set her up with all the correct specialists.* i do not know of a local support group, but maybe the office staff will.* However, we have a wonderful support group on msn "The Vascular Birthmark Support Group"
