VBeam gold standard procedure

Hey everybody:
I'm not certain of what are the standard parameters for the VBeam on a facial PWS. My doc, tried just 7 j/cm2 on the first try, with none effects, but i've been googling for more information, and i've found that in some cases it's accepted to use 12 or 15 j/cm2.
Does anyone has more information about it?

Hi Raul,

Like I said in my message replying to your story. I have used up to 10mm tip on the V-Beam PDL. I also have heard of doctors using the 12 and 15 but most doctors will not use them for the fear of scaring. The 10mm that I used would already be considered being aggressive on the PWS, but in the dark purple areas of my PWS they even do not and have never even phased my birthmark.

I would say if you go to Candila's website they might be able to provide you with more information on exactly what how your doctor could order additional tips for his machine.
