thanks for the reply but i didn't have anything on for pain relief and i didn't feel any pain thats why i thin k it wasn't turned up strong enough to do anything i'm starting to worry that this might be a waste of time and money

Hi,

You can request the chart notes from the doctor's office and see what settings the laser was turned to. I've also read from some adults w/pws that their pain tolerance is higher.

ok i was thinking today can minocycline cause birthmarks to show up more? i'm taking it for acne and just thought my birthmark has only really started to be prominent since i started the mino

THAT is a wonderful question!

I take tetracycline for rosacea (rosacea's cause is an underlying vascular problem) and it lightens that. But, please, do ask the prescribing doctor his or her thoughts on that. Or maybe find the drug manufacturer's site and see if they have any info online.

About 15 years ago I tried some of my sisters retin a on my pws to see what would happen. It just made it very red and prominent

well i had my second laser nearly 2 weeks ago and it has faded my mark the doc thinks only one more should do it i'm not so hopeful i think at least 2 but i'll be very happy if one does it one side is practically gone the darker side is still there just more pink than red now

Did you find out what setting the doctor is using? Your post sounds dramatically different than your previous post. congrats!
