Trying to locate Dr. Morelli, help!!

Hello everyone! I am new to these boards, but definitely not new to birthmarks. My name is Jessica and I'm 25 years old... I was born with a large port wine stain on my right cheek. I have had 25 laser treatments on it since I was 8 years old, but haven't had any treatments for almost seven years. My doctor was Dr. Joseph Morelli, who I loved dearly. He truly changed my life.... I still look at pictures of my birthmark before I had any treatments, and look at it today... it's night and day!

But anyways, the real reason why I'm posting is I have decided to have more treatments. I live in Washington state (always have) but always either flew or drove to Colorado for my treatments. At the time I started, Dr. Morelli was one of the only doctors on the west coast that did these treatments. Since then, I have had a few done here in Washington, and it was fine... but I'd really like to have another session with Dr. Morelli. I am married and have a one year old son now, and I desperately want my husband to meet him... he's seen many pictures and heard of what an amazing doctor he is. I also want him to meet my little boy!

I don't know why, but I am having the hardest time locating him! When I saw him, he was at the Children's Hospital in Denver, located on 9th Ave. I tried calling the number for it, and it's saying it has been disconnected. I can't seem to locate him anywhere!! Could someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks everyone, and I'm so glad this place exists.... how I wish it was here when I was growing up!!

Maybe try getting a directory assistance 'on campus" and see they have updated number for his department.

Hi Jessica,

Frist of all welcome to the group. I am a 24 years old with facial PWS/SWS.

Dr. Moreli was my first Derm also. I started seeing him when I was five. I saw him for about 7/8 years before there was a machine in Nebraska where I live.
I do not know if I remember seeing you at his office your name does not ring a bell. If you want you can check out my website to see if I look formilar. hankspws.com

Anyways, I called up one of my friends that sees one of Dr. Morelli's coleges (since Dr. Morelli is only treats children). The number she had was 720-848-0500. That is the main Dermatologies office number according to my friend.


Also, just wanted to let you know there are a couple good doctors in CA if you are interested. The are in the resource section.

Also, have you ever heard of the name Geoff Ritchie? If not, he is a guy that lives on the Washington Oragan boarder. He has a PWS like us. If you ever wanted to get a hold of him you can get is email off his website at geoffspws.com
