Eyelid Surgery

Hi everyone

As mentioned on my other post my daughter saw a specialist yesterday who has provisionally scheduled surgery to debulk her eyelid h - so she can open her eye wider. (They are not removing the whole H just seeing to the eyelid)

Has anyone had experience of this type of surgery? does it work? what can we expect?

Have oral steroids been offered as an option? My daughter had a very large hemangioma on her left eye, and 6 ml of Prednisolone daily cured it completely.

I would encourage you to contact Dr. Aaron Fay from ask the expert section of this site. He can give you a lot of information on debulking eyelid lesions. IT is important to get the eye open asap.
