I am glad you are seeing the doctor today. How did it go? Sorry I did not see your post until now. Did you get your questions answered? Often parents figure out they have more questions after leaving the doc office... either they forgot to ask or it didn't occur to them. It would be a good idea to request and MRI to see how involved the hemangioma is one the head and to rule out any internal hemangiomas. Internal h. are rare and often do not require treatment, but it is best to know. An MRI is typically routine when a child has three or more hemangiomas and/or is symptomatic.
