18 Years of A Hemangioma - still bright as ever
I just turned 18 last month and I have had a H on my thigh since I was born. Up until I was ten or eleven it would raise and bleed, but it seems that with the onset of puberty the raising stopped. My mother and father tried to get my lazer surgery, but the dermatologist had to locally numb the area with an injection and the needle caused me such pain that I was not physically able to continue with the treatment more than one session.
Now it just sits on my leg and seems to be more than a mood ring than a nuisance.
Stress causes it to become bright red once again and still bubble, but not to the same degree as it used to.
I was just wondering if anyone else out there beat the statistics that 90% are totally gone by the age 9.
