Default Are Hemangiomas common in blacks?
My daughter karlie has a large facial hemangioma on her right cheek. I have yet to see anyone african american with a hemangioma. This is one of the reasons why her pediatrician failed to diagnose her earlier. Does anyone know the stats on different races?

It is less common for african americans to have hemangiomas. My daughter is multiracial. My husband is black and I am white. My daughter has a venous malformation.

It can happen in persons of all races.
