Are you seeing any more growth now at 6 months old? Has he had any type of treatment for the hemangiomas? Are you able to describe them, size etc. and or post pictures? I may be able to help you get a specialist near you that can give you an opinion on surgery. I would also recommend emailing Dr. Greg Levitin from ask the expert list on surgical options for hemangiomas.

My daughter has such a fast growing H, that at one point after already waiting for quite some time, we were seriously asked by a specialist to start her on Propranolol, which I hate doing and I would love to be able to wait this thing out. But then again, it is on her head (7 by 5cm and 1,5cm high) and there is a lot of dark hair to help cover it a bit and I don't know what it feels like to have a child with an H near the eye or on the face generelly, where people notice it quickly. So go with your Mum instincts, and find a specialist you trust, then listen to him.

I am going thru the same thing, my dd has one on her eyebrow, it's a canverous (deep) one...I don't know what to do because her doctor says "wait it out"

I have a same experience with u, did u give a try to get any treatment? does medicaid will cover the treatment?? because my daughter has a hemangioma on her left side eyes and her pedi also telling us to just "wait and see" and i hate it.
My daughter also has medicaid and i also cannot afford any cost out of pocket.

My daughter was on medicaid when she had treatment and it was covered so I think it is possible.
