Internal hemangiomas?

My 5 month old son (a twin) has 4 external Hemangiomas. (one on head, one on arm, and one on each leg). He has had issues with pooping since birth, major constipation (despite medication) and pain with pooping, even splitting the skin at his rectum causing bleeding. He is being referred to Pediatric GI doc for possible internal Hemangiomas. Does anyone have experience with this? Intestinal ones? I am scared to death that he will need surgery.

if he has 4 h's i would suggest to get an mri done as well to see if there are any elsewhere inside.

It is really important that your son's case is seen directly by a vascular birthmark specialist (or reviewed by one). Please feel free to email me and I will help you obtain opinions from specialists that deal with internal lesions frequently.
