I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Sarah and I have a 4.5 month old, Maysie. She has a fairly small hemangioma on her lower lip, and I wasn't too concerned about it until the past week when it became ulcerated. It's causing her a good bit of pain whenever anything touches it. I miss my happy baby and I will be trying to find her some treatment, since the aquaphor and tylenol aren't cutting it. It is so helpful to read about the experiences of others, and I will be posting with questions and our experiences.

try talking to a vascular specialist in your area to see if they can give you some treatment options. laser might help heal the hemangioma. in the mean time check with your dr about litacain ointment to numb the area.
