I was watching Discovery Health last night and there was a story about a man from Portugal with a huge hemangioma on his face. The show is a repeat but very interesting. Apparently, the man had a mark on his lip as a baby but the growth did not start until he was a teenager and it continues to grow to this day (he's in his 50s). Because of his religion (Jehovah's Witness), he has refused surgery due to blood transfusion issues. Anyway, I thought it was a very sad, yet interesting story. Does anyone have any thoughts on the man's condition?
