Hotel or Housing recommendations in NYC

Hello everyone:

Brielle is having her operation with Dr Waner on May 20th and we're looking for suggestions on where to stay.

Anyone stay at a hotel near the hospital (Beth Israel - 1st Ave and 16th St) that they recommend.

Or, anyone stay at the Hospital housing?

I have stayed at the hospital apartments 2 times and I would suggest that. It is nice having a kitchen and table so you don't have to eat out all the time. I find it less stressful and cheaper. They aren't the nicest but are still comfortable enough for a short period of time.

We also stayed at a hospital apartment on W.113th. st. across from St. Lukes Hospital. The apartments there are a bit dated, but the price was great at 100.00 a night. The second time we stayed at the Holliday Inn on W. 57th St. at 138.00 a night. This was around the corner from Roosevelt Hosp. Liz @ Dr. Waner's office is over booking 212-636-3970
