LRL,
Thank you so much!!!! Those pictures are incredible!! Your son is soooo handsome & beautiful!! I am amazed & encouraged by your words and pictures !! Our daughter is 4 months & doing great. I am enjoying this stage!! Her marks have really faded, especially the ones on her lip & nose. I will put updated pictures at some point. Hope you are well. Thank you again

updated pic from kdtanker/Stork bites, angel kisses
Hi everyone. It has been quite some time since I posted and want to give you the update on my daughter's stork bites/angel kisses. She still has the complete collection as I like to say, but they are fading. Her age is currently 2 years, 3 months and her hair has covered all of the marks on her head and the back of her neck. She has little bangs so the giant V is less noticeable. It is still fairly prominent, though, especially when she is mad or hot. The pediatrician has noticed a significant fading so I feel like it will be a gradual improvement. I actually really love her marks and they don't bother me like they did in the beginning. I will try and post each year if I can remember. I just want other parents to know that her marks are the most prominent example I've ever seen. If hers are fading, then I would argue anyone's will!

Hi kdtanker...wow! Look how much your daughter has grown and she is absolutely beautiful! Very similar position of marks as my son has. Your daughters have really faded a great deal - I think as parents we will always notice every tiny detail about our children, other people I doubt would even notice any marks at all, they are barely visible in the photo. Like you said my son's still become more prominent when he is angry, crying, too hot or too cold eg when we go swimming. I have a feeling this will always be the case but hey, that's him and I love him just how he is! Thanks for updating, your little girl is so sweet...those curls...adorable!!...Look forward to seeing more pictures in the future, all the best, LRL x

LRL you have really eased my mind when I saw your photos and kdtanker. In the hospital the Dr.'s told me they were stork bites, but no guarantee they were going to fade. The pediatrician told me to use make up when he got older (you got to be kidding me!)...... then my home pediatrician said they would fade away, not to worry. I think at 3 months they have gotten somewhat lighter. Josh has them between his eyes, nose and below lip. I would put pics but can't figure out how to decrease size of pic so I can upload ....if you are curious I could email them
