Would you consider Charlotte? Or Atlanta?

I know a woman in Gaffney who takes her son to see http://www.facialsurgerycenter.com/ and loves him. He is a very good physician, but that's in Charleston. Her son has some extensive PWS on his face (plus glaucoma) and she drove there for treatments every few months.

I've actually been to the Facial Surgery Center before, but the resulting bruising and swelling was a real downer. I didn't think it was really worth it and the results were mild.

I went to a random guy in Wilmington and he did a very good job with a smaller (less intense) laser. The results were the same if not better. I'm wishing I could find out what kind of laser it was and go back to him.

You can call them and ask. You might have to fill out a permission form and wait for them to mail it, but their records should have the information you want. Especially, if you want to go back there. After that, you could find another "random guy" in Columbia. Are you still in Columbia?

I am still in Columbia. I went to a place in Spartanburg called Bottsfords Vein and Laser Center last week and had a consultation. It went well. Nobody had ever told me that they thought they could remove the birthmark completely before, but this woman seemed confident that by using a Vbeam Perfecta she could more or less completely get rid of it. That was encouraging but I was bummed that she also said it could require as many as 10 treatments and that the treatments would still leave bruising (Purpura). That stuff is intense and puts a huge damper on my life when I have it. I have to take a week off of work and stuff.

I'm hoping to find someone around here with a Vbeam Perfecta and the Dynamic Cooling Device which is supposed to reduce bruising. Does the DCD work for PWS?
