nape port wine stain 25yr old male

Hi everyone,i noticed what i thought to be a rash on my nape 3 yrs ago a derm told be its nevus flammeus,i did not have it at birth or as a child growing up as my mother confirmed to me..all my reasearch has lead me to the conclusion nape stork bites are permanent so i was wondering has anyone attempted laser to treat it and was it any bit successfull?

I keep my head shaved this is why its a problem for me..

I just saw your message, but don't know enough to help you. I think that lasar treatment could possibly help. Perhaps you should consultation with a lasar specialist as a first step. My advise would be to go slowly and to consult with several specialists before taking any action.

I would recommend contacting dr. Stuart nelson via the vbf ask the expert page. If you can, send him a photo. He may be able to give you an idea of how well the laser would work in your case. Of course it is better to see you in person to determine for sure, but it is a great way to get advice first.
