hemangioma on soft spot - scared mommy

does anybody have any knowledge or experience with hemangiomas on the soft spot of a baby?
I have a 9 week old baby boy with a progressivly growing hemangioma on his soft spot. it is a little smaller than a dime and has started to raise up. I am concerned about his brain and whether it is growing down into his head. Are there any treatments available when it is on his soft spot?

I am pretty scared and worried about my baby.

My daughter had one right in front of her soft spot and it covered the front of the soft spot slightly. There was no concern about it interacting with her brain. We had it removed at 4.5 months old.

I took my baby boy to a pediatric dermatologist and he gave us a topical precription (timoptic). that was 2 wks ago - it hasn't grown since then and it isn't so bright red anymore. I'm very happy I took him to the specialist!
