PWS + Kids

Just recently, I met a young man who I have fallen very much in love with... we are talking about marriage & both of us would like kids. We're going to wait due to schooling & try to save up some money (yes, I know you can never be fully financially prepared for a child!) before we have one, & would like to be able to move to a nicer neighbourhood.

My question is, can pregnancy affect PWS? Mine is on my forehead, left side, & extends from my hairline down to my upper eyelid. I have not had treatments for the last ~3 years due to lack of ins (even tho I know I could use a round or two).

I know I could be borrowing trouble, but has anyone had any experience w/ this?

Given your location, I have not heard of pregnancy causing issues. Do you mind sharing your age?

Ill be 25 in June.

Outside of thickening & a few more blebs, not much has changed w/ it since my last treatment about 4 years ago now.

Pregancy can cause issues with malformations, but usually more significant with extremities and patients with VM, or KTS. I would encourage you to write to Dr. Nelson on the ask the expert page. If you need help, let me know.
