Successful Laser Treatment
My 8 week old daughter had a pulse dye laser treatment done yesterday and I am thilled with the results! She had a slightly raised, strawberry H on the bridge of her nose, very close to her eye. The doctor gave me the choice of the laser, and I accepted after hearing the pros/cons. I am so happy I did it. In less than 24 hours, it is completely flat, not brilliant red anymore, and starting to fade in some spots. Hers had not gone into rapid growth yet according to the Dr.
He also gave us Timolol to put on it twice a day as added measure. We go back in 4 weeks to check it, and I am hoping we won't need any more laser! This is a case where early intervention was definitely worth it! I am hoping to see even more results in the upcoming days/weeks. I heard of rebound growth in H's but I am hoping we don't experience that.
