Strawberry birthmark changing

Hello! My name is Rebecca. I have had a strawberry birthmark on my head since I was a baby and am now 23. Every once in a while it is bothersome and Itches but has never bled or anything. Yesterday I noticed a bump on my neck like an enlarged lymph node. Well today it was still there and I noticed the Pain went up to my birthmark and my birthmark is also painful. I had my husband look at it and it has turned a yellowish color. It is usually all pink. There are two of them right next to each other and one is more sensitive then the other. Could this be an infection? Thank you for any advice. I will try and attach some photos as well!

Hi there! I don't really have any experience with what you have described, but maybe you could go see a Vascular Anomaly specialist? They would probably have the most insight...although I'm not sure when you mention the lymph node thing..maybe there is a different specialist that would be better? Have you shown your doctor? Maybe some others will chime in here and be able to offer more ideas. Good luck! It would be great to see some pictures.
