Default An update on success of propanolol and timolol.

I know it's been awhile since I've stopped in but here is an update for those that may remember me OR for those that need help:

http://lexihemangiomapropanolol.blog...y-23-2013.html

I know what it's like to just be starting out with all of this & wanting and needing help or even just words of encouragement. So that's why I figured I'd update.

Hi all,

my dauther is 2 years old and we started the propranolol-treatment since she was 2 month for a range of 1 year and 3 month (we administered it orally
every 8 hours). After that we continuing with propranolol ointment directly on the affected areas (cheeks left and right, lips, chinn) . The regression of the hemangioma wasn't still properly satisfactory.
Could you please tell me some more about the timolol gel you do twice a day.
Thanx in advance
Kind regards from germany
Sascha

Sascha

Timolol is a topical gel that is rubbed into the hemangioma. Many do not believe that it works well on "deep" hemangiomas and to be honest we didn't think it was working either until we stopped using it. We saw a huge difference when we stopped. If you have any other questions feel free to message me.

Thanks Missy!!!!
