i just wanted to take a moment and share with all of you what a wonderful man did for my daughter. His name is Dr. Hochman and he is a specialist in vascular birthmarks as well as a big part of this website. My daughter had a hemangioma the size of a large marble on the tip of her nose and just recently had it removed. I cannot tell you the amount of comments we have gotten from other people about how terrific her nose looks. My husband and I (myself especially) were nervous, anxious, and just plain worried about putting her through surgery but Dr. Hochman did a wonderful job with her (and with us) and his staff was exceptional as well. He is very knowledgeable on the subject of hemangiomas and removing my daughter's was a walk in the park for him, I'm sure of it! Her nose looks normal - people that don't know us and our situation, when told about her surgery ( which was less than 2 months ago) can't even tell that anything was done! Dr. Hochman is an amazing man! And he did an amazing job with my daughter!

I am putting together a new brochure for VBF and would like a copy of a before/after of your daughter's hemangioma. If that is possible, I would need you to give me permission to use the photos. The nasal tip hemangiomas make a dramatic, as you stated, before and after. Since Dr. Hochman is on our board, it makes it all the more important to use a photo from one of our docs. I am interested to know where your vascular malformation doctor is located. I have one on my left cheek and lip area and also on 3/4 of my tongue. I've been to several doctors and had several surgeries. But I'm looking for a doctor who specializes in this area. Thank you.
