VBF’s 2013 conference was our largest attended conference to date. A total of nearly 300 people attended and our team of physician experts held 127 clinic appointments to provide a diagnosis and treatment plan to our participants and to network them into treatment. These same physician experts lectured about the current research and treatment options for vascular birthmarks, tumors and related syndromes such as Klippel- Trenaunay Syndrome and Sturge-Weber Syndrome.
We would like to thank the all of our volunteers, the VBF Board, all Beckman staff members, and all of the doctors who donated their time to make this event possible. A special thanks to our sponsors, Beckman Laser Institute, Terumo, UC Irvine Medical Center, ASLMS, Beckman Laser Institute Foundation, Syneron, and Leslie and Dennis Rebelo. Thanks also for generous donations from Lauri Firstenberg, Whole Foods, Land O’Lakes, Inc and Dr. Eric Bernstein.
VBF looks forward to another successful conference next year in 2014 in honor of our anniversary! We hope to see you there!
