Our Clinic is the only one of its kind in the world. We offer virtual lectures from the top experts in the field on the latest in research and treatment options, as well as individual appointments with our multidisciplinary team of expert specialists who provide an informal diagnosis and treatment plan to every individual and family.
Our Clinic serves individuals with any type of vascular birthmark, anomaly or syndrome including hemangiomas, port-wine stain birthmarks, lymphatic malformations, arteriovenous malformations, venous malformations, KTS, PHACES, CLOVES, CMTC, and Sturge-Weber Syndrome, among all others. We turn no family with a vascular birthmark away.
Please note, we will be following the current CDC Guidelines for the Clinic. We will be in contact as we get closer to the date to inform you how to prepare for your trip to New York City. Dental and ultrasound appointments will take place on Friday, October 8 and clinic and laser appointments will take place on Saturday, October 9.

One of the highlights of the VBF Conference and Clinic is a free laser session. To be considered for a free laser session, you will need to be screened and pre-approved, found on the application. Please note, current patients of Dr. Geronemus are not eligible for the free laser treatment.
We are proud to offer free dental and ultrasound exams again this year for those with qualify. Dental and ultrasound exams will be offered on Friday, October 8.
We are proud to offer our 2021 VBF Conference talks to all that register. These talks will be sent to you virtually the week before the Clinic and available for the two weeks following the clinic.
This includes over 20 talks from world renown experts featuring topics including hemangiomas, port wine stains, venous malformations, arteriovenous malformations, lymphatic malformations (cystic hygroma), SWS, KTS, PHACES, KHE and other rare vascular anomalies.
Also included is a discussion on psychotherapy issues, a new topical treatment of VMs/LMs, the VBF impact study from the pandemic, and highlights of the VBF Global Ambassador Program.
We will be offering one night of free lodging on Friday for attendees at the Shelburne Hotel & Suites by Affinia located at 303 Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10016.
We are excited to be hosting our Clinic again with the wonderful staff at the Laser and Skin Surgery Center of New York at 317 E 34th St, New York, NY 10016. As we get closer to the Clinic, we will send you additional information and forms to fill out for Center.
Please note – everyone must bring with them proof of a COVID vaccination or negative results from a COVID test no more than 5 days before the clinic. If you are unable to get a test, you will be able to be tested at the clinic. Masks are required inside the clinic building for everyone regardless of vaccination status.

Unfortunately, due to the demand of the clinic, VBF cannot pay for any of your travel. Megabus offers affordable transportation in many cities in the U.S.; the hotel is less than two miles away from Penn Station if you are able to take a train in.
Additionally, if you chose to drive, VBF can provide Friday and Saturday parking for you in NYC.

Your all-inclusive $100 registration fee includes all the services described above. If there is a financial hardship, the full $100 registration fee will be waived so long as you select the $25 payment option on the registration form and pay the mandatory $25 processing fee.
If you need to cancel for any reason, we would be happy to issue you a full refund of your registration fee, upon request.
